The Type of Woman Men Fall in Love With

I’d like to shed some light on something that women have been puzzled about for centuries, and that is the type of women men fall in love with. There have been so many books written on this subject, yet most have not delivered the common sense answers I am going to share with you in this issue of Smart Woman’s Guide Newsletter.

Without wasting much time, I will get right to the point. I am going to give you 10 personality attributes that men love to see in the women they fall head over heels in love with. Men are attracted to women that have:

  • 1. Intelligent – This attribute ranks very high, after men have gotten past your looks. Men love women that are smart, opinionated, and articulate. Most enjoy speaking to women who have their own point of view on subjects and are passionate in discussing affairs of the day. Men love to debate, and if you can make them believe, or at least respect, your point of view, then you have a man that will see you as an equal, and not as an ornament to be displayed to the rest of the world until the next best ornament comes his way.
  • 2. Good Humored – If you can laugh at your man’s crude jokes or take his wisecracks, you become someone he wants to get to know better. But if you’re the type that easily gets upset when he jokes about your raggedy hair or sloppy dressing, men will not find your personality as attractive as one who possesses this quality.
  • 3. Confident – When you have your own opinion and can defend it, are comfortable in your own skin, regardless of your body size or whatever else Mother Nature has thrown your way, then you have what it takes to attract men that will fall head over heels in love with you.
  • 4. Supportive – Men find it easy to fall in love with women that encourage and support positive undertakings they embark on. Men love women that have the ability to see what they see in the goals they pursue. Men believe that when you support their dreams and goals, you believe in their ability to accomplish those things that are dear to their hearts. And when you support that which is dear to a man’s heart, you essentially have the key to unlock his passionate love for you.
  • 5. Accommodating – When you understand that men are not perfect, and you are able to easily forgive them for their imperfections, then you possess one of the most admirable qualities men seek in their love interest. However, if you are the type that will nitpick every single thing they do or nag them at the drop of a hat, then you will not have a man hanging around you for very long.
  • 6. Patient – This attribute is quite similar to that in #5. When I speak of patience here, I am referring to a woman’s ability to be in a relationship with a man without pressuring him into making a serious commitment he may not be ready to make. Now understand that there is a way to let a man know that you are interested in settling down, without coming across as desperate or overbearing. Women that show men that they are willing to wait for them to propose a committed relationship are apt to be more attractive to men than those that come across as impatient.
  • 7. Sensual – A woman that is not sensual is not attractive to any man. To be attractive to a man you must be perceived as someone who is very comfortable with her sexuality and knows how to initiate sex spontaneously. If you believe that men should always be the first to make the move when it comes to bedroom and lovemaking matters, you may be doing yourself more harm than good when it comes to your ability to attract men. Improve your ability to initiate intimacy, and you will see how much more attractive you will appear to your guy. You can improve in this area tremendously if you are open to what Michael Webb, a bestselling author, reveals in his exciting e-book, “500 Lovemaking Tips & Secrets”.
  • 8. Honest – Men find authentic and honest women quite attractive. If you are the type that tells it like you see it, men will find this aspect of your personality very attractive. “Say what you will do and do what you say” ought to be your motto. Just as you respect and love men that tell you the truth no matter what, men feel the same way when they meet a woman that does not waste their time with fibs. In a nutshell, men are attracted to women that are honest and down to earth, women that do not pretend to be who they are not.
  • 9. Open-minded – The willingness to explore other possibilities, new ideas, etc. is an attribute that men seek in the women they want to love. Being open-minded does not mean that one has to compromise one’s personal convictions, but rather is able to see another point of view and respect it, even if it is not one that you share.
  • 10. Health conscious – Women that take care of themselves are generally more attractive than those that do not. After all a good physique is the first thing that attracts men, even before they get to know how wonderful and exciting you are. Men are attracted to women that exercise, eat right, take care of their hair, nails, and dress well. To attract the best you must look your best – it is that simple.

NGOCC demands HH apology

UPND president Hakainde Hichilema

The Non Governmental Organizations’ Coordinating Council (NGOCC) has demanded the arrest of former UPND National Youth Chairman Joe Kalusa’s for threatening to organize party youth on the Copperbelt to gang-rape FDD leader Edith Nawakwi in order to teach her to respect married men like UPND Hakainde Hichilema.

The women movement has also demanded that UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema retract his recent statement and apologize to Ms. Nawakwi and the nation at large for his sexiest attacks on the female gender.

NGOCC Chairperson Beatrice Grillo in a statement released to QFM News the media reports attributed to Kalusa are retrogressive not only to the democracy of the nation but also towards the fight against gender based violence and in particular violence against women.

Ms Grillo says Kalusa’s threats are a danger not only to Ms. Nawakwi but to society at large.

She says it is shameful for a public figure and supposedly future leader to engage him-self in acts of perpetuating violence against the female gender.

Ms Grillo adds that differences in opinions should not be the basis for threatening violence as amicable ways of resolving difference should always be sought.

She appeals and urges the youths in the political parties not to be used as tools of violence stating that the Zambian youths have much more to offer to the country than being brainwashed into violence.

She says NGOCC calls upon Kalusa as a matter of urgency to apologize to Ms. Nawakwi and the women of Zambia for the anguish caused by his careless threats.

Ms Grillo states that as the women’s movement, they have listened and read with dismay over the recent days unwarranted attacks on the FDD leader, adding that the unfolding tension between Ms. Nawakwi and Mr. Hichilema is a source of concern and unfortunate especially that it is has deteriorated to the use of unpalatable language.

She says NGOCC is of the view that the two leaders have a lot to offer and should therefore engage in dialogue in order to find a lasting resolve to their differences rather than insulting each other in the media.

Ms Grillo further states that it is NGOCC’s considered view that Mr. Hichilema sexiest attacks are uncalled for and should not be tolerated in this day and era given the fact that Zambia as a country has ratified various protocols and conventions on the elimination of violence against women.

Church will not rest until justice prevails over the deportation Catholic Priest-Bishop Lungu

Bishop George Lungu (R)

CHIPATA Diocese Bishop George Lungu has said the Church will not rest until justice prevails over the deportation of Lundazi Catholic Parish Priest father Viateur Banyangadora.

Speaking during a homily to cerebrate the 75th Anniversary of Chipata Diocese held at St Anne Cathedral in Chipata yesterday, Bishop Lungu reiterated that the Church would not rest until the Government revokes the deportation of its clergy for the sake of unity.

The prelate who did not want to dwell much on the deportation of Fr Banyangadora alleging that the issue was “still hot” only reminded the Catholic faithful during the celebrations that the church would not rest until justice prevailed on the matter.

“I would like to inform you that the Church will not rest until justice prevails on the deportation of Fr Banyangadora for the sake of unity. I do not want to dwell much on this issue because it is still a “hot issue”, but I can assure you that the church will not rest until justice prevail on the matter,” he said.

Last month, a combined team of security wings apprehended Fr Banyangadora, 40, a priest of Rwandanese origin from his residence in connection with the sermon he delivered in church during a homily which was allegedly seen to have been in the spirit of inciting people to rise against the Government.

The clergyman was later transferred to Lusaka for further interrogations before being deported.

Home Affairs Minister Edgar Lungu announced few days later that Fr Banyangadora, who was a holder of employment Permit No 008955, was deported to Rwanda because he was found to be a danger to the peace and good order, contrary to Section 39(2) of the immigration and Deportation Act No 18 of 2010.

Bishop Lungu said the Government violated human and constitutional rights of their priest despite him being in possession of a Rwandanse passport.

Meanwhile, Bishop Lungu has said the Catholic Church is saddened with reports that some Catholic pupils in other mission schools were being mistreated.

“The Church is disturbed with some reports that some catholic pupils in other mission schools were being mistreated by school authorities. We hear that sometimes rosaries are confiscated from these pupils by school authorities without any proper explanation,” he said.

Bishop Lungu said the other mission school authorities should tolerate other religions in their mission schools just like the Catholic tolerated non-Catholic pupils learning in Catholic schools.

Well done Sata, say Southerners

IN an unexpected and striking turn of events, President Michael Sata’s works have received public recognition from the people of Southern Province who have spoken through 15 of their traditional leaders in commending Government.

The chiefs have hailed President Sata for managing to record remarkable developmental milestones for the country within his first year in office.

The stance taken by the chiefs from Southern Province seem to have defied odds that have held that people from the province would not work with the Patriotic Front Government.

The chiefs who have since pledged total support for the Head of State in spearheading national development included Senior Chief Bright Nalubamba of Namwala, Senior Chief Monze of Monze District, chiefs Mukuni and Nyawa, of Kazungula District.

Others were chiefs Chikanta and Simwatachela of Kalomo, chiefs Singani and Macha of Choma, Chief Sinazongwe of Sinazongwe, Chief Chipepo of Gwembe, Chief Simamba of Siavonga, chiefs Shimbizi and Kaingu of Itezhi Tezhi District.

Speaking through Chief Chikanta, the traditional leaders submitted that among the positive developments recorded during Mr Sata’s one year in office were the streamlining of agricultural inputs and supplies to improve distribution to small-scale farmers.

They hailed the creation of the Ministry of Chiefs and Traditional Affairs headed by Nkandu Luo.

Chief Chikanta said the traditional rulers were happy with the relocation of Southern Province headquarters from Livingstone to Choma and turning the latter into the tourism capital.

The chiefs also thanked Government for turning Chirundu, Chikankata, Pemba, Zimba in Southern Province and other areas around the country into districts.

Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations, George Chellah said in a statement released in Lusaka yesterday that the traditional leaders commended the President for increasing chiefs’ subsidies from K1 million to K4 million as well as the upward adjustment of retainers’ wages.

The traditional leaders were also happy with Government’s ban on the sale of the highly potent alcoholic beverage, popularly known as tujilijili and enforcing of laws to regulate the consumption of alcohol.

The chiefs said this during a closed-door meeting with President Sata at State House when they met the Head of State to discuss various national issues.

The chiefs thanked Mr Sata for meeting them. “We would like to congratulate you Your Excellency for winning the 2011 tripartite elections and thank you most sincerely for what we consider as positive developments that your Government has effected in the last one year.

“We the 15 chiefs of Southern Province gathered here and on behalf of other chiefs in Southern Province do hereby state that we will work with the Government of the day and other stakeholders in promoting development and good governance in the country,” Chief Chikanta said.

They expressed their appreciation on the creation of Muchinga Province and intentions to construct chiefs’ palaces throughout the country as well as providing mobile phone towers in all chiefdoms.

They were also happy with Government’s intentions to economically empower their communities by giving contracts such as those for bush clearing along ZESCO power lines to their chiefdoms.

In turn, President Sata assured the chiefs during the more than two-hour-long meeting of more interaction with his administration “because traditional leaders are a vital component of the country’s governance system.”

Mr Sata expressed desire to continue uplifting standards of living for the people of Southern Province.

“During the campaigns I promised the people of Southern Province that I will give them the Bottom Road immediately I am elected. Obviously, you have seen that works on the Bottom Road are moving very fast.

Shortly, we will be moving to the Monze – Namwala Road once we organise resources,” Mr Sata said.

President Sata agreed with the chiefs’ concerns on the need to have more interaction with Government.

He acknowledged that traditional leaders were an important component in the governance of the country.

He said Government was committed to addressing the problems facing the traditional leadership countrywide, hence its resolve to create a specific ministry, the Ministry of Chiefs and Traditional Affairs within the establishment.

The President was flanked by Justice Minister, Wynter Kabimba; Prof. Luo, and Community Development, Mother and Child Health Deputy Minister, Jean Kapata.
